Goodbye 2011! Hello 2012! As a part of the wave of changes that I would like to happen this year is this blog - for public viewing this time (still not giving up my private, more emotional one hehe). As the new year begins, I'd like to look back to the year that has been.

Old friends, better relationships

To the best college buddies!

One of the things I am thankful for is my block. It's been almost two years and our friendship's only getting better and better (at least for me). Endless cocols (coffee coffee lang), Facebook video calls/Y!M/ooVoo sessions until morning, random movie dates, inuman blues, dinners and breakfasts, happy sessions, sleepovers, heart to heart talks and even late night getaways! Another highlight of this year for the block would be the addition of our two new members - Jimo and Farud. I'd say that those two surely added some spice to the block (if you know what I mean) hahaha! This year, although block days will be over in a few months, I'm expecting to be even more intimate with this group of people. College just wouldn't be the same without H2! 

Throughout the years

Of course, how can I forget my friends who have been there for me through thick or thin? We may not see each other as often as before but I'm beyond happy to know that our friendship still hasn't faded - and I know it won't (IT SHOULDN'T)! To more bondings and carefree chill moments! Love you Kerr's! ;)

Alright, already, the show goes on! 

This year is definitely the breakthrough of my dancing, for a lack of a better term, career hahaha! Took the risk, did what I love. Started with MEcO Crew. Met new people who I definitely loved dancing with. Endless, fun nights in Soc Sci Conference room and A1 Studio. Although we didn't get through the final round of RiB, I still definitely enjoyed the roller coaster ride with my first ever dance crew. 'Til next year, MEcO Crew! ;)

You're a jerk, you're a jerk, you're a jerk!

Another milestone for me this year is being part of my new crew, TBA Crew. I was definitely quite hesitant at first to join this crew due to a lot of reasons. Nonetheless, took the risk again. Only a few months have passed and I can say that I'm already genuinely happy being with this crew. Looking forward to more practices and gigs with you guys! 


Of spices and herbs
I have always loved food. It is also in 2011 that my love for food grew more. I appreciated more different kinds of cuisines and challenged myself to try more new dishes everyday. It is in this year that I've finally invested in cooking. I'd always offer to cook dinner whenever I'm at home during weekends and make everyday food a little bit extraordinary. There even came a point where I told my mom that I wanna quit Ateneo and go to a legit culinary school. Well, my parents definitely didn't allow me and they won't anytime soon. Hahaha! Oh, I cooked three dishes for our dinner a while ago. As of now, I'm planning to do some more food adventures and some more cooking every time the moment would permit. Here's to a foodgasmic 2012! Omnomnom!

Well, there's definitely still so much more that happened in 2011 but those aforementioned are surely the most memorable ones. I'd take a deeper look into my memory bank and see if I could post some more!
